RIGHT #1: Article 2 - Freedom to Discrimination

Equality of opportunity is the essence of social justice.

Discrimination is the unfair treatment of individuals or groups based on certain characteristics such as age, gender, sexual orientation and race.

Though the human brain will automatically categorize things (girl and boy, for example), it should not prevent us from respecting and treating each other equally – after all, we are all human and we the same rights to each other.

Actually, this kind of issue should not be tolerated in all forms but it is sad that sometimes even the parents of a particular child will teach him/her to treat someone inferiorly – that is why it is important that we imply and teach respect to the young ones, as early as we can be.

Discrimination often happens in a form of receiving poor services to stores, being treated with less courtesy, being treated as less intelligent and less trustworthy. If you know someone who experiences discrimination, you must take actions and raise an awareness to end this social issue.
